Training at HMS Sultan is certainly not designed to be a walk in the park. There are early morning starts and you’ll need a certain degree of discipline. But this is exactly the sort of skills required for the job. Your personal development is just as important to us, however. So, we make sure there’s a great culture and atmosphere for you to enjoy while living and learning at the base.

You won’t be working all the time, and your evenings, Saturday afternoons and Sundays will be all yours. Perfect for taking advantage of the facilities available on site. As well as a swimming pool, boxing ring and personal fitness instructors, you’ll be able to use football pitches and a fully equipped gym.

Team building is a really important part of your learning, which is why every night there’ll be something for you to get involved with. And if you feel like relaxing, there are a number of fully equipped common rooms for you to socialise in with your friends. The out-of-work culture at HMS Sultan is very strong.
