Electrification & Plant technicians have a variety of career options. The training and experience is intensive. Rather than just preparing you for the next role you might take on, we help you gain a level of competence that will take you much further in the organisation. If you move into contact systems, you could be directing and leading a team that is responsible for maintaining and repairing the overhead line, as well as taking responsibility for technical and safety standards and procedures. Or, if you choose to specialise in distribution or plant, there’ll be opportunities to move into more specialist or team leader roles.
