Area Support Analyst [Recruitment Team C]

About Shared Services

Our Shared Services team deliver specialist processes that have a direct impact on the performance of Network Rail, our customers and suppliers. These services include payroll, accounts, finance, controls and compliance, reporting, recruitment and helpdesk support.

What will you be doing?

You will provide central resourcing support for the North West & Central route. You’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process, advertising vacancies, arranging interview and processing offers. You will guide hiring managers throughout the process, offering training and sharing best practice. Working closely with the route HR and resourcing teams, you’ll provide reports and facilitate meeting to provide recruitment updates. You will manage circa 30 hires a month, working towards targets, SLA’s and KPI’s.

Main Responsibility

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, educating and supporting managers throughout
  • Maintain vacancy tracker ensuring it is always up to date
  • Prioritise your workload efficiently, ensuring both candidate and hiring manager needs are met
  • Provide pro-active and specialist advice on relevant recruitment and selection activities including advertising, assessment tools, interview scheduling and the management of offers
  • Promote consistency and fairness in the recruitment process (managing unconscious bias / encouraging diverse interview panels etc)
  • Develop and sustain effective working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Work in partnership with the route resourcing and HR team
  • Produce reports and facilitate meetings to provide recruitment updates

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Be well organised and able to prioritise working to meet tight deadlines
  • Confident using social media e.g., LinkedIn to promote Network Rail as an employer of choice

What could set you apart

  • Experience in a volume-oriented resourcing/recruiting environment
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • Good understanding of NR diversity& inclusion initiatives

Package Description

Role Title: Area Support Analyst [Recruitment]

Salary range: £20,000 - £25,000

Contract Type: 12-month secondment/ Fixed Term Contract (2 Opportunities)

Location: Square One | 4 Travis Street | Manchester M1 2NY
