Distribution Administrator [Worksite Survey] - 9m secondment
Job Introduction
Join our Asset Information Services function who specify, collect, evaluate, collate, analyse and share data and information about our infrastructure assets. This data is used to create insights and intelligence, helping asset managers, engineers, network infrastructure planners and maintenance teams make better informed business decisions.
You’ll help support the railway through repeatable, sustainable, reliable services and products. Our methods for collecting data are cheaper and safer than track-side inspections. The power of our data allows our customers to plan and deliver effective maintenance and renewals of railway assets. Together we are delivering improved safety and performance.

Main Responsibility
You’ll source and distribute underground services and worksite survey data to internal and external customers in accordance with New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), company standards and relevant work instructions
What will you be doing?
- Deliver an efficient and effective worksite survey service
- Process internal and external requests for underground services and worksite survey data in the relevant systems and track and record their progress; inform customers of progress with their requests
- Process requests for underground services and worksite survey data, collating and distributing the necessary information from internal and third party sources in accordance with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA), company standards and work instructions
- Undertake the provision of underground services and worksite survey data as required by other corporate and third party systems and processes, maintaining synchronisation and data integrity between systems
- Maintain accurate records of underground services and worksite survey data and assist in the preparation of data assurance and other management information reports
- Support the development and delivery of underground services and worksite survey data improvement activities and process enhancements
- Liaise with managers, customers and stakeholders as required to undertake accountabilities
- Assist with other related asset data collation and distribution activities as required

Essential
- GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work systematically and meet deadlines
Desirable
- A level or equivalent qualification, preferably in a numerate discipline
- Knowledge of asset and information management
- Experience of GIS or similar tool

Package Description
Vacancy Type: Full-time/part time but flexible working patterns will be considered.

Band & Salary: Band 6 £17,835
