Shared Service Administrator [Org Change and Employee Record]

About Shared Services

Our Shared Services team deliver specialist processes that have a direct impact on the performance of Network Rail, our customers and suppliers. These services include payroll, accounts, finance, controls and compliance, reporting, recruitment and helpdesk support.

 

 

What will you be doing?

The Employee Records team are responsible for the processing of Data Subject Access Requests in line with ICO and GDPR regulations. We are the custodians of employee personal files, and it will be your responsibility to source and add documents in compliance with data regulations and the Data Protection Act 2018. You will be a proven multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to make sound judgement upon information to be released. In addition, as part of the role you will work with stakeholders across the business including Data Protection, Human Resources and the Counter Fraud team.

Main Responsibility

  • Processing Data Subject Access Requests in line with GDPR and agreed timelines
  • Applying sound judgments with complexities that may arise and ensuring we remain compliant with GDPR
  • Work and liaise with key stakeholders across the business such as HR, Legal, Data Protection and the Counter Fraud Team
  • Ensuring compliance with our internal process when undertaking procedures or work
  • Working as part of a team to ensure all legal deadlines and KPIs are met

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Able to use initiative and apply sound judgement
  • Understand GDPR and applying this knowledge whilst managing personal/confidential and sensitive information
  • A need to be resilient and professional in managing personal/ confidential information 

 

What could set you apart

  • Full or Part qualification of CIPD (or willing to work towards)
  • Previous knowledge or experience in managing Data Subject Access Requests in line with GDPR
  • Experience in using Data Redaction Software

Package Description

Role Title: Shared Services Administrator [Org Change & Employee Record]

Salary range: £21,000 per annum

Contract Type: 12 month FTC

Location: Square One | 4 Travis Street | Manchester M1 2NY
